/How E-Design Works
So what is E-Design? It's basically virtual interior design assistance! When you own a vacation rental it's not always possible or affordable to hire an interior decorator to redesign your space. That's where AkdDesigns and E-Design come in and this is how the process works!
1) First go to my contact page and click on "Request a Project". You will be asked to complete a questionnaire so that I can learn about what rooms you need help with, what your style is, as well as your budget for furnishings. When you finish the questionnaire you will then select the design package and submit payment for your designs. (see the "How Much" section for package pricing).
2) Once I receive your questionnaire and payment I will reach out to you via email so that we can discuss your project to make sure I have a clear understanding of what you're looking for. If you prefer to talk on the phone or via FaceTime that's also an option because it's important to me that you feel comfortable and confident when you hire me to work with you.
3) In 7 days you will receive your first two design boards with shoppable links to products I hand select for your project. I take a lot of time researching quality products with only positive reviews making sure to stay within your budget. All of the products in the sample boards shown below are from Amazon however, I will source products from any of your favorite online stores! Once you've had a chance to look over the designs we'll talk again to discuss any questions you have or changes you'd like to make. At that time I will do a final design board for you reflecting the changes we've talked about.
4) I will follow up with you in 1 week after the submission of your last design board to make sure that your ordering process went smoothly and everything was in stock. I will also be available via FaceTime if you'd like some advice on placement of your items once they arrive.
The process is simple and and so much fun! It's like having your own virtual decorator/shopping assistant!
